At the final stage of product development, after confirming product safety, PROYA will conduct professional product efficacy tests to determine whether the product can be marketed based on the test results.
Major efficacy evaluation methods
In vitro testing
In vitro testing in cosmetics is one of the mainstream methods for screening cosmetic raw materials and evaluating the efficacy of actives. The methods of in vitro testing include physicochemical method, biochemical method, cell biological method, skin model substitution method, etc.
Consumer use test
After the testers use the product for a certain period of time following the instructions given, the efficacy of the product is evaluated by means of self-assessment by the testers in the form of a questionnaire.
Human efficacy evaluation test
After the testers use the product for a certain period of time following the instructions given, the efficacy of the product is evaluated using quantitative analysis methods such as subjective evaluation, objective instrumental evaluation and semi-subjective evaluation.

Raw material management
Raw material selection - We carefully select high-standard raw materials and strictly manage the access, maintenance, use and replacement of raw materials to ensure the quality and stability of each batch of raw materials.
Quality control - PROYA's testing center, a CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) certified laboratory, utilizes international advanced equipment and instruments to conduct standard and scientific testing and evaluation on raw material quality.
Compliance - The R&D Innovation Center establishes a database for each raw material and continuously synchronizes it with the regulatory updates of major countries and regions in the world to ensure the uniformity and compliance of raw materials.
Supplier management
PROYA's suppliers are required to pass all quality audits, which enables us to ensure the reliability and traceability of raw materials and packaging materials, and to fully control process quality management of PROYA's products from raw materials to market launch.
The supply chain builds the SRM (Supplier Management System) system to create an integrated supply chain platform consisting of suppliers, procurement, production, logistics and distribution, building an efficient, timely and accurate commodity supply system with data sharing and information interoperability as a guarantee to meet the ever-changing market demand of multiple channels. In this way, we can form accurate and efficient quality assurance capabilities from the source.
Packaging material management
We strictly control the quality of the final packaging and its impact on the environment.
Our packaging requires full protection of products in the entire process including production, storage and transportation, sales and consumer use. Moreover, we take into account the use of materials that are ecologically and human friendly, reusable and recyclable, and in line with sustainable development at the development stage of packaging materials, and continuously optimize existing product packaging practices to save resources and protect the earth.
Finished product management
The key quality control aspects of our products include raw material quality and safety reviews and assessments, the formulation of raw material standards, as well as formulation stability, corrosion challenge testing, safety assessments, efficacy testing, and production process verification.
We control and measure the content of banned and restricted substances in raw materials and products in strict accordance with the Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics to ensure that all parameters comply with regulatory standards.
We follow the ISO/TR 18811 guidelines on the stability testing of cosmetic products, the guidelines on the stability testing of APIs and preparations in the Chinese PharmacopoeiaI 2020 Edition, and the guidelines on the general requirements for pharmaceutical packaging materials to evaluate and research the stability and compatibility of products with different characteristics.
Various safety and efficacy tests are conducted throughout the entire product R&D process, covering the whole life-cycle of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products and finished products to ensure that the products reaching consumers are safe and effective.
Leveraging technological advances to improve quality
PROYA utilizes digital technology to build 5G smart factories.
We output 32 business processes through modeling of production business processes; 153 pieces of major equipment are industrially connected; 5 production workshops and 35 production lines realize data interaction between SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) + APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling System) + MES (Manufacturing Execution System) through 5G technology, realizing information-based, transparent, and real-time intelligent manufacturing in the whole process from raw material storage, production scheduling, manufacturing, to finished product delivery, to continuously improve lean production capacity.
