On January 7, at 9:05 AM, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in Shigatse, Tibet, resulting in significant casualties and widespread damage to buildings. With the year-end approaching and temperatures plummeting below freezing, local residents and rescue teams were in urgent need of assistance.
In response, PROYA launched an emergency disaster relief operation, quickly procuring women’s care packages to be delivered to the earthquake zone in Tibet. The care packages include essential items such as sanitary pads, cotton underwear, warm patches, towels, and wet wipes.
In the face of merciless natural disasters, we remain resolute and clear-minded, and through collective efforts, love and support unite to overcome adversity. Tibet, stay strong!
