On November 28, the 7th World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention, organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, commenced in Hangzhou. As a distinguished representative of Zhejiang entrepreneurs, Hou Junchen, the Founder and Chairman of PROYA, was invited to attend this prestigious event for the third time.
At the conference, Hou Junchen participated in interviews with various media outlets, including Zhejiang Daily, Zhejiang Businessman Magazine, and Tide News. He emphasized that PROYA, as a leading domestic beauty brand listed on the stock market, is dedicated to continuously enhancing its brand strength, product quality, technological advancement, and strategic capabilities, with a core focus on technological innovation. Additionally, the company actively practices sustainable development principles, accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces, contributing to the high-quality development of China’s cosmetics industry.
This year, PROYA has made significant progress in fostering new quality productive forces. The “PROYA Cosmetics 5G Smart Factory Project” was recognized as a “Typical Cases of Intelligent Linkage and Joint Governance” by the Information Center of the National Medical Products Administration, making it the only national cosmetics brand to be included. This accolade sets a benchmark for the digital and intelligent development of the cosmetics industry. Moreover, the construction of PROYA Smart Factory (Longchi Plot) has officially commenced, aiming to reduce energy consumption in manufacturing through intelligent technologies and create a zero-carbon factory. In addition, PROYA recently received the Third Prize of the 2023 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award for its research achievements, becoming the only beauty enterprise to receive this honor.
PROYA’s vision is to “become a world-class cosmetics enterprise”. Hou Junchen believes that maintaining a leading position in the global competitive landscape hinges on R&D innovation, digitalization, and internationalization. In October of this year, PROYA established its European Innovation Center in Paris, France. This center will inject new momentum into PROYA’s sustainable development through R&D innovation, global resource integration, and enhancement of the company’s international influence.
